Course outline
Technique Training - in this part of the course, we review how Case Study is marked, how to use our Planning & Reminder Sheets and how to write your response as efficiently as possible. You will then be ready to tackle the second part of the course. You will reinforce your learning through our numerous online quick-fire questions which will help you cement your knowledge and help you identify any topics that you need to revisit. We also explain the impact of pre-populated spreadsheets, which are being introduced with effect from the July 2025 sitting.
July 2024 Mocks and More Pack - in this part of the course, we make available all 5 Mocks, video, PDF and online quick-fire questions that we produced ahead of the July 2024 sitting. You will learn the July 2024 Advance Information inside-out and sit 5 Mocks all based on the same set of Advance Information. We provide full answers and Tutor Debriefs for all 5 Mocks so that you review your work. Subject to an additional charge, you can submit your answers for our review if you wish.
Unlike other tuition providers who often ask you to sit multiple different past papers, our approach of providing 5 Mocks all based on a single set of Advance Information allows you to save a lot of preparation time.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our Introduction to Case Study 2025 course is a general introductory course which is not specific to either the July 2025 or November 2025 sitting.
If you wish to take a course which is specific to either of the exam sittings in 2025, look out for our Case Study Masterclass (July 2025) and Case Study Masterclass (November 2025) courses which will be released later in the year after ICAEW have released the relevant set of Advance Information.

How do I know your Mock Exam Pack is ICAEW standard?
With 13 years of experience in writing Case Study Mock Exam Packs, we know the ICAEW past paper markschemes inside-out so we know the types of point to include, and how the examiners tend to think.
This allows us to create content which connects to the Advance Information while still testing the "classic" Case Study themes and points derived from the past papers.
We actually write the Mock Exam Pack to be slightly harder than the past papers (longer and more complex question papers, slightly stricter markschemes) so that our students are trained to above ICAEW standard. This means that they feel comfortable and confident on exam day.
We understand the concern that our Mock Exam Pack is not written by ICAEW staff but that is the same for all tuition providers as the current ICAEW examiners are not allowed to tutor Case Study and ICAEW does not provide any live Mocks.
Hopefully our pass rate of over 98% since 2013, together with 7 Case Study prize winners (both global and regional), should provide assurance that we know what we are doing!
